Acolyte Newsletter - March 2010
Hello Everyone!
Hope you are experiencing a holy Lent! Thanks again for volunteering your time this month. As always, your contribution and flexibility are greatly appreciated. We really couldnŐt do it without you.
Here is the March 2010 schedule through Easter Day. There very well may be errors on this schedule. It is always the most difficult one to create, so it may have to be revised a bit later. I didnŐt hear from some of you; I just I hope I received a Blue Sheet from everyone who sent one.
If you are available but not scheduled, please let me know. We have positions that you may be able to fill, and many people are double-scheduled and could use some relief. Again, let me know or check-in in the Vestry on Sunday mornings; we almost always need additional help.
We are especially short at 8:30 on both Palm Sunday and Easter Day. Please help out if you can!
As always, if you are unable to honor an assignment in March, please remember to let us know. Leave a message on the voicemail in the Vestry or again, contact me, Jeffrey or Kathy.
Some Reminders:
Crucifers, Torches, Gospel Torches - Please line-up after the administrators and take communion form the Choir Station (by the altar). Torches then go to the Choir Aisle for their equipment, and Gospel Torches return to their seats.
Crucifers - Please remember to speak to the North Server and pick up a flagon of wine. Then proceed to the North Pillar and refill chalices until the North Server can relieve you.
North Servers - LEM kits should be prefilled with wine so you should only need to put wafers into the kit. However, please remember to check to be sure the wine is there.
Thanks again. Lent is almost here. Oh wait - EASTER is almost here.
Cheers,
Rodney
